Country princess Taylor Swift appears in the soundtrack of 2012 sci-fi/drama film "The Hunger Games" contributing with a brand new song called "Safe and Sound" - The emotional ballad features vocals by Nashville duo The Civil Wars, it last over 4 minutes long, and was officially released on iTunes on December 26th, 2011.
